This city knows how to beat self-esteem. Many cannot withstand his energy, there is competition for every job, for every startup idea. It seems to me that from this the pace of life of people is slightly bent towards a career, especially those who create and develop their own business. Therefore, it is worthwhile to tune in that you will also work here more than before.

But if you work 24/7 it doesn’t emphasize your success, it means that you have timing problems. They value the opportunity to spend weekends and evenings with family or doing hobbies and sports. That is why no one wastes working hours: there is no time for chatting at the coffee machine, for stretched lunches.

The office pace is fast enough. You start early, not distracted by social networks and non-work conversations, but by five o’clock you are completely free.

“This city knows how to beat self-esteem”

True, due to the pandemic, almost all the time now passes at home. Sometimes it seems to me that for this it was not necessary to leave to live in San Francisco. But there is one thing: I live in a very sunny and warm city. My room is always filled with light – it inspires me to do many tasks much faster so I can find time to walk.

The weekend is full: meetings with friends, searching for places with terraces, tennis. The Valley loves hiking, walking up the hills and going to the ocean. But I can say that for those who love the city more than nature (hello, it’s me), there is always something to do here too. I like local museums, I like that each area of the city presents its own culture. When you want a little bit of Italy, you can go to North Beach, if you miss Asian food, it’s time to go to the charming Chinatown. By the way, food is a separate story altogether. My mom jokes that you can’t find a bad dish in a restaurant in this city. And I am already beginning to believe in it too.
