English As A Second Language (ESL) With Raleigh Parks and Recreation


English as a Second Language (ESL)

The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department offers English as a Second Language. These classes are offered for beginner and intermediate levels for adults 18 years and up. Classes are designed for people that utilize a primary language other than English and are interested in learning important skills to communicate.  This course is free and available at several locations and times.


Barwell Road Community Center
Tuesdays, September 2 - October 7

English as a Second Language at First Korean Baptist Church
These classes are offered for beginner and intermediate levels.  Classes are designed for people that utilize a primary language other than English and are interested in learning important skills to communicate in English. Classes are $6 for ages 18 and up on Thursdays, September 4 through October 9 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.  Classes are held at First Korean Baptist Church, 8905 Ray Road, Raleigh, NC 27613. Registrations are only accepted at any City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation facility.
