Council To Receive Design Update On Proposed Morgan Street Roundabout
At its Dec. 2 meeting, the Raleigh City Council will receive an update report on the design of a roundabout proposed for the intersection of Morgan and Hillsborough streets. The update will be presented at the council’s meeting at 1 p.m. in the council chamber of the Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex, 222 W. Hargett St.
The update follows a public meeting held on Oct. 14 to receive public input on the project’s proposed design. The proposed roundabout design was added as part of the conversion of Morgan Street to two-way traffic. The City Council approved a single-lane roundabout in January.
