Volunteer Position


Position Title: Adopt-a-Stream Volunteer
Organization: City of Raleigh Public Works Department

Position Description: City of Raleigh Public Works Department has a great group project for you! Walk adopted stream segment twice a year, spring and fall.  Look for signs of poor water quality and pollution sources.  Once a year, clean debris from creek.  Map of stream and instructions on filling out stream survey form given to group leader. Adult supervision necessary for youth groups. Name on Adopt-A-Stream logo sign in appropriate location. Call (919) 996-3940 for more details. We would like to hear from you!
