Internship Position

Position Description:

• The internship position will include responsibilities associated with both the Marketing and Program Development division and the Corporate Leisure Services Program.  The intern will assist with marketing, developing, promoting, and evaluating innovative programs sponsored by the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department.  This includes work in the area of special programs and community resource development.  In addition, the intern will work with the Corporate Leisure Services Program, which serves as liaison between the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department and the corporate sector.  Responsibilities will include planning, implementing, and evaluating special events such as family days and company picnics, meeting management and team building services, and corporate trips and tours.  Parks & Recreation, Marketing, or related experience preferred.
