Internship Position

Position Description: The internship position will include responsibilities associated with the operation of a community center for the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department.  The intern will serve as acamp counselor and assist office staff with daily administrative duties (including front desk work, budget and payroll observation, special events coordination, scheduling of staff and programs, etc).  The intern will able to work with highly motivated and energetic staff with high expectations.  By the end you will have learned how to successfully manage a City of Raleigh Community Center.  Parks and Recreation experience and experience with children preferred.  Working hours may include travel time with staff to learn about the entire City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department and how it operates.
