Overview |
|
|
The Triangle Transit Authority has planned a regional commuter rail system linking Downtown Raleigh and Downtown Durham via Cary and Research Triangle Park (Phase 1). The system is to be extended to North Raleigh in Phase 2. Two stations are to be located in Downtown Raleigh - the Downtown Station and the State Government Complex station. $50,000 has been set aside for public art at each station. Federal funding for this project has been withdrawn. A regional task force is reviewing options for other funding or a revised plan. Learn more on the Triangle Transit Authority web site.
