What is a dog park?

These dog parks are areas where you can take your dogs and let them off leash, while remaining in compliance with Raleigh city ordinances.

Where are the dog parks in Raleigh?

Millbrook Exchange Dog Park
Millbrook Dog Park is Raleigh's oldest dog park. Located within Millbrook Exchange Park at 1905 Spring Forest Road, Millbrook dog park was opened in April 2003. Millbrook is Raleigh's only dog park with lights and is open from sunrise until the lights turn off, usually around 10:00 PM. The park also features a water spigot and buckets so you can let your dog have a drink. Next time your dog wants out, consider taking them to Millbrook!

Oakwood Dog Park
Oakwood Dog Park is located at 910 Brookside Drive. In addition to its large dog park, Oakwood also features a small dog park for older dogs or for dogs that are anxious around larger dogs. Oakwood Dog Park is open every day from sunrise until sunset, so stop by and check it out!

Carolina Pines
Carolina Pines is Raleigh's newest dog park! It opened to the public in October of 2007. This beautiful dog park is located in a wooded area at Carolina Pines Community Center at 2305 Lake Wheeler Road. It contains three separate fenced in areas, each being covered in a layer of mulch and having plenty of space for your dog to run freely. Carolina Pines Dog Park is open from sunrise to sunset seven days a week, so grab your dog and head on out!
