Artspace is a visual/performing arts center in downtown Raleigh’s Moore Sq. Art District. Artspaceoffers 44 artists working in studios open to the public, 3 art galleries with changing exhibitions and Upfront Sales Gallery. Educational programming and workshops for adults and children. Theatre performances by Raleigh Ensemble Players are held in Gallery II. Free on street parking.

The Art Department operates a twelve month gallery program in three campus exhibit areas. The Rotunda Gallery in Johnson Hall and the Frankie G. Weems Gallery in Gaddy Hamrick Art Center both offer annual shows, including the North Carolina Photographers Annual Art Exhibit and the Raleigh Fine Arts Society Exhibit which are statewide competitions, and the Annual Juried Meredith Student Exhibit.

Located in City Market near Moore Sq. in downtown Raleigh, VAE is a nonprofit association/gallery fostering advancement of local visual artists that provides exhibits in the main gallery with 30+ exhibits in venues and maintaining retail gallery. Special features are an annual exhibit of Wake County student artworks, scholarship competitions, and a foreign art exhibit.
