Established following a needs assessment conducted by the City of Raleigh Arts Commission in 1982, Arts Access is the only program in NC devoted exclusively to making the arts accessible to people with disabilities. Our mission is to encourage and enable individuals with disabilities to have full access to arts programs and facilities and participate fully in the cultural and artistic life of Greater Raleigh.
