Seniors/Adults
Senior Adult Program
The Senior Adult Program serves over 6,500 senior adults in the Raleigh area. Some of the many activities offered include sports leagues such as tennis, golf, bowling and more; over 25, one-day and overnight trips each year including cruises and international travel; educational seminars and workshops on a wide range of topics; and various exercise and wellness classes. There are also 48 Senior Clubs affiliated with the Senior Adult Program. These clubs meet at area community centers, churches and senior housing facilities, and offer a range of activities such as bridge, speakers, community service projects and more. While some activities in the Senior Adult Program do require a minimum age of 55 to participate, many are open to all adults regardless of age.
