Neighborhood Services
The Neighborhood Services Division houses many of the city’s programs designed to engage and empower citizens in the areas that enhance their quality of life. Neighborhood Services meets the needs of the City’s diverse citizenry by serving as a primary referral resource for human services, coordinating and facilitating citizen involvement, and improving community relations.
Neighborhood Services is staffed by one Community Specialist Supervisor, six (6) Community Specialists and two (2) Community Services Assistants. The staff are responsible for coordinating and providing assistance to the following programs; Citizens Advisory Councils (CAC), Citizen Area Liaison Initiative, Fair Housing Hearing Board, Latin-American Services, Neighborhood Association Registry, Neighborhood Quality Team, Neighborhood Improvement Matching Grants and Raleigh Neighborhood College.
