The City of Raleigh provides garbage, recycling and yard waste collection at the curb all on the same day each week. There are four collection zones: northwest, northeast, southwest and southeast. Weekly collection days are Tuesdays in the northwest zone, Wednesdays in the northeast zone, Thursdays in the southwest zone, and Fridays in the southeast zone. Residents may verify or determine their day of service by calling Solid Waste Services at 996-6890 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
