Station 26 was opened on June 9, 2003 and dedicated on June 18. Located north of Rock Quarry Road, this fire station serves areas in southeast Raleigh.  Station 26 provides firefighting as well as Fire Responder services, responding to all emergency medical calls. In addition, fire station personnel offer free blood-pressure checks and conduct home fire safety inspections upon request.

Station 27 was opened on June 9, 2003 and dedicated on June 19. Located about two miles east of the New Hope Road intersection, this fire station serves parts of northeast Raleigh. Station 27 provides firefighting as well as Fire Responder services, responding to all emergency medical calls. In addition, fire station personnel offer free blood-pressure checks and conduct home fire safety inspections upon request.

Station 28 in northeast Raleigh opened April 25, 2007. The 10,000 square-foot station has 15 firefighters at its disposal with one Pumper Truck capable of delivering 1,500 gallons of water per minute. The station was designed with community standards and public input to look less like a commercial structure and to be more congruent with neighborhood design standards.
