Southwest District
The boundaries of this 15,166 acre Southwest District are I-40 and Western Boulevard on the north, Highway 401 South and Garner Road on the east and the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction, or ETJ, on the south and west. Major transportation corridors are I-40, the I-440 Beltline, U.S.1/64 and U.S. 70 east/401 south. The NCSU Centennial Campus is in the northern portion of the Southwest District.
