Art On The Edge Exhibit Set For August 21-23
For three days in August, Lichtin Plaza at the Progress Energy Center will come alive with art that transcends the perceptions of what can typically be found in a traditional performing arts venue. From local music to local theater and comedy, Art On The Edge will bring it all to downtown Raleigh.
Public Forum On Downtown Parking Issues
The City of Raleigh is seeking comments from citizens regarding downtown parking issues. A public input forum will be held on Aug. 26 in the City Council chamber on the second floor of the Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex. A draft report by the City’s parking consultant is also available.
Public Meeting to Discuss Rock Quarry Road
The City's Public Works Department will hold a public meeting on Thursday, Aug. 21, to discuss the proposed widening of Rock Quarry Road. The meeting will be held at the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s office at 3301 Jones Sausage Road, beginning at 7 p.m.
