Hurricane Awareness Information
With Tropical Storm Hanna roaring through North Carolina and with Hurricane Ike possibly approaching, the City of Raleigh offers tips and links to provide you with valuable information in the event of a hurricane and other emergencies.
Keep Your Water Meter Unobstructed
The City has been installing Automatic Meter Reader technology on its water meters. This is enabling Public Utilities employees to read a customer's water meter via radio signal. In response to problems with customers covering or damaging the signal equipment, here are facts about the process.
